La Scenté — pronounced la son-tay, and often written La Scente — is a travelling perfume bar based in Melbourne. We arrive with a fully styled bar, a library of fine fragrance notes and hosts who guide every guest through the art of choosing.
Each guest leaves with a bottle they created themselves — labelled, sealed and made to be remembered long after the night ends.

- La Scenté is a luxury perfume bar in Melbourne, Australia. We bring an interactive fragrance bar to weddings, brand activations, corporate functions and private celebrations, where every guest smells, chooses and bottles their own custom perfume to take home.
- How does the fragrance experience work?
- A dedicated fragrance stylist guides guests through four curated signature scents. Guests choose the fragrance they love, and it is bottled by your guests as a personalised keepsake. Each experience runs for 3 hours excluding set up and pack down.
- Where do you operate?
- We are based in Melbourne and travel to venues across Melbourne and surrounding regions in Victoria. Travel fees may apply for events outside metro Melbourne.
- Can I buy La Scenté perfumes online?
- Yes. Every signature fragrance poured at the bar is available in our online boutique in 30ml ($25), 50ml ($35) and 100ml ($45), plus a Discovery Set of four 10ml vials. Shipping is free across Australia and New Zealand on orders over $50, otherwise a flat $10 within Australia. We also ship worldwide — international delivery is calculated at checkout using the cheapest available courier.
- Do you create bespoke or custom scents?
- Yes. We curate bespoke fragrance line-ups for brand activations and develop signature scents for businesses, retail spaces and venues. Contact us to discuss a custom fragrance.
